Omaha-NE-NE  [1 of 4]
This view is from the northeast looking southwest. The route from the Red Oak, IA junction via Mineola, IA is "connected" to the left-facing (southeast) antennas second from the left on the top tier, and the left horn on the third tier down.

The antennas facing just slightly left are aimed at Minden, IA (the Des Moines/Chicago/New York route).

I believe the top left antenna with blotches of red paint is aimed at an odd little site perhaps 6-8 miles east of Council Bluffs (just east across the Missouri River) and a couple of miles south of Old US Highway 6. There the radio route splits going north and south. All of this was done with single horns, so I am guessing that this was Northwestern Bell's (now Qwest) routes to small towns in Iowa.
